The Verve

Verve Condominiums is Urban One's flagship project in Calgary, and a landmark addition to the emerging East Village neighbourhood. The 26-storey tower delivers 297 modern residences above ground-floor retail, with a full amenity program including a fitness studio, outdoor cabanas, and party room. Designed by award-winning architects, Verve anchors the first phase of a larger multi-phase development and brings a high standard of urban living to one of Calgary's most exciting urban renewal districts.

Sustainability was central to the project from the ground up. A high-performance building envelope reduces overall energy consumption, native landscaping minimizes stormwater runoff and irrigation demand, and the parkade was constructed in permeable gravels adjacent to the Bow River and waterproofed entirely using crystalline cementitious methods. Completed in 2018, Verve demonstrates Urban One's ability to deliver complex, performance-driven residential projects beyond British Columbia.
