Allan Beron

Allan Beron has over 30 years of business experience, including more than 20 years as a senior executive in the construction and development industry. Allan is a CFA Charter holder (CFA) and MBA from The Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.

Allan’s entrepreneurial drive, combined with his experience at multi-national companies and smaller boutique firms, has shaped his approach to managing both projects and people. His goal is to provide clients in the high stakes, high stress environment of large-scale building projects with the peace of mind that comes with knowing their project is being managed by a best-in-class construction company.

Ramin Roohi

Ramin has over 25 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager and Group Manager on a number of high profile developments across the Lower Mainland. A professional engineer, with an M.Eng and MBA, Ramin has managed and completed in excess of $1 billion in commercial and residential construction.

Ramin manages the interest of all project stakeholders, even when faced with challenging project conditions, and achieves successful outcomes in profitability, quality and customer satisfaction. Ramin is a leader with a calming influence on any team, and his in-depth knowledge of project management and accounting processes make him an invaluable asset to every project.

Miguel Zapiola

VP Field Operations

Miguel Zapiola has over 25 years of experience supervising residential, institutional and commercial projects, Miguel’s knowledge of construction allows him to foresee and address potential issues before they become real problems. 

Miguel has a proven track record of delivering fast track projects with complicated designs ahead of schedule, within budget and of the highest quality. His exceptional understanding of sequencing of construction gives him the unparalleled ability to plan and schedule overlapping tasks for maximum output and an uninterrupted flow.

One of Miguel’s top priorities is the safety of his employees and trades, who he manages with a skillful personal approach, enabling them to work to their full capacity.

Cameron Tullis

As Chief Financial Officer, Cameron Tullis plays a key role in guiding the company’s financial performance, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring disciplined capital management across all projects. Cameron brings over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, holding senior executive roles in construction, real estate development, and professional services firms across Vancouver.

Cameron is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia.

Chief Financial Officer 

Edwin Chann

Edwin is a senior construction professional with 30 years of experience – including 20 years as Chief Estimator – working on projects in BC, Alberta and the Pacific Northwest. As a founder of Urban One Builders, Edwin has developed strong relationships through all levels of the supply chain, and he has an integral role in building our portfolio of residential, commercial and institutional projects. 

Edwin’s vast knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and job costing is an invaluable asset when it comes to project planning. He provides guidance and direction to his team of estimators and works collaboratively with consultants and owners to find the best solutions for each project. Edwin is exceptionally qualified to provide value-engineering input and feedback on cost impact of various design elements, including in Mass Timber construction.

Daniel Visintin

Daniel Visintin is a construction and development professional with over 30 years of experience delivering complex, high-rise residential and mixed-use projects in Canada and across Australia. Since joining Urban One Builders in 2013, Daniel has been a cornerstone of the senior management team, directing projects including the iconic 1151 West Georgia Hotel & Tower and the Arbutus Centre, the largest redevelopment project on Vancouver’s West Side.

Now serving as VP of Construction Planning, Daniel leads pre-construction strategy, logistics and schedule development, and the integration of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes. He is recognized for fostering strong, collaborative relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and municipal stakeholders, consistently driving project success from concept through execution.

Janice Thompson

Janice brings a passion for building community and 20 plus years of experience to her role at Urban One. She takes pride in creating an inclusive, engaging company culture while working on attracting and retaining top talent. She is recognized for exceptional interpersonal skills and natural approach to interacting with people at all levels.

Daniel Kelly

Daniel has been working in construction technology since 2007 and has been leading Information Technology at Urban One Builders since 2012.

He has experience working closely with the executive management teams, as well as Project Management, Operations, Estimating, and Finance, managing major projects to implement or overhaul critical systems. In addition to defining the strategy and identifying new trends within Information Technology, Daniel has worked with executives and stakeholders construction to identify and introduce innovative new technologies and processes reaching across the business. Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration in the Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University.

Josh Davis

Josh is a construction professional with more than 15 years of experience in the field, and has been a team lead on a number of Urban One’s most iconic projects going back to 2013. He has extensive knowledge of all related construction methods, materials and equipment and a strong track record of cost effective, successful completion of projects. He thrives being part of team and is an effective leader, managing trade coordination and establishes positive relationships with architects, engineers, officials and clients.

General Superintendent 

Anna brings over 20 years of experience in construction as both a safety professional and a trades person. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for leadership in workplace safety, operational excellence, and fostering positive safety cultures across complex construction projects throughout British Columbia.

Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, accountability, communication, and psychological safety, helping create environments where workers feel supported both physically and mentally. Passionate about people, mentorship, and continuous improvement, Anna is committed to creating safe, and high-performing work environments. She is also a strong advocate for mental wellness in construction and believes successful projects are built on trust and a shared commitment to safety at every level.

Anna Vivas

Health & Safety Manager

Francisco brings a rare combination of international construction experience and academic rigour to his role as Pre-Construction Director at Urban One. A civil engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador and a Master of Applied Science in Construction and Project Management from UBC, he joined Urban One in 2018 and has since become a trusted expert across all aspects of preconstruction, including estimating, scheduling, quantity take-offs, and the interpretation of complex engineering plans and specifications. Francisco also works closely with BIM and VDC specialists, leveraging virtual design and construction processes to identify coordination issues and strengthen project planning before construction begins.

Francisco plays a critical role in setting projects up for success before construction begins. Working across multiple projects simultaneously, he brings clarity and rigour to the early stages of development, ensuring that budgets are well founded, schedules are realistic, and every detail is accounted for before a shovel hits the ground.
